Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works in your browser, on your phone or your computer. The Android app is optional.
Can I explore the site without an account?
Yes. These pages are open to everyone, and the map can be viewed without an account, with blurred photos and shifted positions.
What do I need to sign up?
A nickname, an email, a password, your date of birth, your gender and your city. A verification code is sent to you by email. The site is for adults only.
Can others see exactly where I am?
No. On the map, your position is deliberately shifted by about 100 meters, and ghost mode makes you invisible.
How is a crossing detected?
When two visible members are less than 50 meters from each other, each of them finds the other in their list of crossings, with the place. On the web, the page must be open.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan includes your profile, the map within 5 km, crossings and ghost mode, with 3 likes and 6 messages a day. Paid plans are available if you want to go further, with no obligation.
What happens if someone bothers me?
You can block or report them from their profile or from the conversation. A blocked person can no longer write to you, see you on the map or open your profile. Reports are passed on to moderation.
Are there already many members near me?
Not everywhere yet: Croisée GPS is a community that is just getting started. The map may be quiet in your neighborhood, and every new sign-up brings it to life.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, at any time from your profile. The steps are explained on the data deletion page.
