What your position is used for
It is used to detect crossings and to show you the members and outings around you. Your browser asks for your permission first, and you can withdraw it in its settings.
What other logged-in members see
- Your nickname, your public photos and your age;
- your city and what you write on your profile;
- a position shifted by about 100 meters on the map, and a rounded distance;
- the place of a crossing, only if you really crossed paths.
What a visitor without an account sees
Only a blurred profile photo, the nickname, gender, age, city, plan and a shifted position. The rest of the profile, the albums and the favorite places stay closed to them.
What your profile and the map never show
- Your email and your phone number;
- your address and your last name;
- your full date of birth;
- your exact position, down to the meter.
How to become invisible
Ghost mode
You disappear from the map for everyone or for the people you choose. Invisible to everyone, you no longer generate new crossings.
Stepping away from encounters
A switch in your profile removes you from encounters for as long as you wish.
Blocking
A blocked person can no longer write to you, see you on the map or open your profile.
Your data
You can edit your profile or delete your account at any time. Retention periods and your rights are detailed in the privacy policy, and the procedure on the data deletion page.
